Each spring, SXSW Interactive honors people with the Dewey Winburne Community Service Award. This award helps draw attention to the many wonderful people in Austin who are using technology to improve this city in so many different ways. Indeed, this award celebrates the spirit of community in Austin that is entirely unique to this city and unique to SXSW.
